Biden Visits Preschoolers And Gives Them Some Presidential Pointers
President Joe Biden visited a New Jersey preschool Monday where he told a preschooler that he tries to figure out how to “avoid answering [questions] sometimes.”
During a visit with preschoolers at North Plainfield school in New Jersey, a little boy named Landon proudly showed Biden the words on his shirt that read “Future president.”
Biden then gave Landon some advice about answering questions, or rather not answering them.
“You know, when you’re president, you see all these people here?” Biden said to the young boy. “They’re with you all of the time. They get to ask you all kinds of questions. And you got to figure out how you can avoid answering them sometimes.”
Biden walked away on several occasions during a press conference when questions got a little too hard.
Biden told reporters that he plans to reach a deal on his social spending bill by Wednesday. The proposal would use federal funds to support preschool for 3 and 4-year-olds with federal funds.
