Poll Shows Dems Think Unvaxed Should Be Fined, Confined, Jailed, Tracked Or Lose Custody Of Kids
A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports and the Heartland Institute showed that Democrats were more than twice as likely as other voters to favor severe government consequences being imposed on unvaccinated individuals that range from fines to losing child custody.
According to the results, 48% of Democratic voters said the government should be allowed to fine or imprison individuals who openly question the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine, while only 27% of all voters were in support of the proposal.
Fines against individuals who refuse to take the vaccine were seen as acceptable by 55% of Democratic voters while only 19% of Republicans agreed. Fifty-nine% of Democrats were in favor of a policy requiring unvaccinated people to be confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies. Seventy-nine percent of Republicans were in opposition to a home confinement policy for the unvaccinated.
A surprising 45% of Democratic respondents agreed the government should be allowed to force unvaccinated individuals into “designated facilities” until they get the vaccine — a measure that was opposed by 71% of all voters.
A questionable government program that would use digital devices to track the movements of unvaccinated individuals to ensure they are quarantined or socially distancing was opposed by two-thirds of the respondents, however, 47% of Democratic respondents supported the idea of the program.
In the most shocking proposal, 29% of Democratic voters said the government should be allowed to take people’s children away from them if they refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine, a measure viewed as favorable by 7% of Republicans and 11% of unaffiliated voters.
