Conservative Momma X video about midterm voters

Conservative Momma Mocks Midterm Abstainers

A video from Conservative Momma takes aim at conservative voters who say they will skip the midterm election because they did not get everything they wanted.

Posted on X in a Sept. 28, 2026 post, the sketch argues that refusing to vote can produce the very political result those voters say they oppose. Instead of a traditional campaign ad, it uses four exaggerated characters to make the case for staying engaged.

Four excuses, one warning

The first character is a former Trump voter who claims to have supported him 17 times. She now says she will stay home because she received only about 80 percent of what she wanted and disagreed with some of his actions. The character sarcastically treats that shortfall as a reason to hand power to communists.

The second is a suburban housewife who says her political information comes from podcasters. In the sketch, she explains that she will follow their instruction not to vote, turning the idea of outsourced political judgment into another punchline.

A third former Trump voter says sitting out the election will teach Republicans a lesson. The character admits that the choice could leave Democrats in charge and even invokes the video’s deliberately extreme fear of “eating our pets,” but still treats abstention as a victory because Republicans would have been punished.

The final character flips the argument

The fourth character identifies as a liberal and says she also supports staying home. Her list is designed as a contrast with the conservative voters in the earlier sections. She voices support for allowing transgender athletes in women’s sports, says men can become pregnant, backs surgical intervention for gender-confused children, favors an open border, and rejects individual liberty.

That switch delivers the sketch’s central argument: if staying home helps the side a voter opposes, abstention is not a neutral protest. The video suggests that voters who want to punish their own party may instead help the other party win.

After the four sections, the video returns to the characters’ reasoning in a brief recap. The repeated joke is that each person claims to be making a principled stand while accepting an outcome they say would be worse.

A social video aimed at turnout

Conservative Momma has been producing political videos since 2012, according to the article. This latest effort focuses on conservative frustration with the Trump agenda and the temptation to sit out a general election.

Her message is summarized in the post’s caption: “Don’t vote -try communism!” The result is a satire built around one straightforward warning. A voter can be unhappy with a party and still decide that not voting carries a bigger risk.

The Gateway Pundit article presents the clip as a standout conservative message for the midterms. Its format is a short social video, but its target is clear: voters who believe withholding their ballot is the best way to send a message.
