Tennessee Woman Wakes To Stranger Snuggling Her In Bed
The sun was just coming up when one Polk County, Tennessee woman woke up snuggling her dog but when she opened her eyes she realized that the dog laying next to her was a stranger.
Julie Thornton Johnson says that one of her three dogs usually does sleep in her bed. However, this particular morning she woke up to someone else’s dog cuddling with her.
Johnson said she had no clue how the dog got into her house, so she posted a picture of the pup on social media asking around.
The dog’s owner, Cris Hawkins, who lives a few houses down saw the post and reached out to Johnson explaining that the dog, whose name is Nala, must have slipped her collar during the night and ran down the street, somehow making it into Johnson’s house and, eventually, her bed.
Both Hawkins and Johnson seemed amused by the situation, noting how comfortable Nala looked.
“Good luck getting her out of my bed,” she wrote.
