Popeyes Manager Attacks Teenage Employee
A Popeyes manager was captured on video Monday, assaulting a worker behind the counter of the fast-food restaurant, leaving the higher-ups “horrified,” according to the company’s post on Twitter.
The manager of a Popeyes in Bainbridge, Georgia, was later arrested on charges of battery and first-degree cruelty against a child.
The male manager can be seen in the video arguing with a 17-year-old female worker who is on her phone. The argument escalates and the man strikes the girl in the face, knocking her phone to the ground.
The teenage girl has her arm raised in defense as he continues to show aggression.
Several customers and employees maneuver the man into the restaurant lobby, away from the girl.
The argument apparently started over the female employee trying to clock out.
